DMC Production Adds Danish Professional Football to Nordic Centralized Production Network
September 15, 2023
DMC Production and Superligaen A/S have formed Matchday Production, a new production company based in Copenhagen. Starting in 2024, Matchday Production’s centralized production center will produce more than 800 matches’ live coverage across Divisionsforeningen’s 3F Superliga, NordicBetLiga, 2nd Division, 3rd Division, as well as Oddset Pokalen.
Matchday Production is modelled after DMC Productions’ innovative centralized live remote production platform, where all onsite stadium cameras are sent via high-speed fiber connections to a centralized production center where the high-quality coverage is edited and produced. DMC Productions has been an industry leader utilizing this highly efficient production model in Norway, Finland, and Sweden. With the addition of Denmark, approximately 70 sporting venues will be connected to DMC’s network and incorporated within the overall Nordic infrastructure, which will strengthen league´s and club’s communication capabilities across digital media, social platforms, and engaging their fanbases.

CSM advises SEF on New Six Year Media Deal
October 23, 2024
The Swedish Professional Football Leagues (SEF) and TV4/Telia have entered into an agreement where TV4/Telia will take over the exclusive broadcasting rights for Allsvenskan and Superettan starting in 2026. The contract will span from 2026 to 2031, with the new home for the leagues being TV4 Play after the 2025 season.
Sweden’s largest sport and most popular league will be viewable through a familiar but renewed operator in the future. TV4 has previously held the rights for Allsvenskan and Superettan, broadcasting matches on C More. This time, Telia is part of the collaboration.
“We are on track to set a new attendance record for the second year in a row, and it’s clear that the interest in Allsvenskan and Superettan is growing each season. In this situation, we are both happy and proud to welcome TV4 and Telia as media partners for Swedish Professional Football Leagues. We’ve conducted a thorough process, together with our advisor CSM, where we listened to all stakeholders and gave all interested bidders a chance. In the end, the choice fell on TV4/Telia, and we look forward to our shared journey to further develop our leagues. We believe this partnership will create great value for all parties,” says Simon Åström, chairman of Swedish Professional Football Leagues.
