This weekend by Invitation from DEL, Holger Ensslin and Richard Morling from CSM attended the 2022 Winter Classics at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne.

The classic football stadium in Müngersdorf, home of FC Cologne, was for the night transformed into the biggest ice hockey venue in Europe for the match between Kölner Haie and Adler Mannheim.

DEL and host club Kölner Haie invited fans, partners, and hockey associations from all around Europe to the 2022 Winter Classics. In front of 40.000 (!) spectators, the home team showed good form, put up a great show, and came out victorious.
