Finnish Ice Hockey Association and CSM renews agreement for a new term

FIHA and CSM have extended its agreement to cover the next media rights cycle starting with the 2026/2027 season.
CSM has been FIHA’s advisory partner since 2019 and advised FIHA during the media rights tender for the seasons 2020/2021-2025/2026, which saw media company Discovery-Warner Brothers acquiring the domestic rights in Finland.
During the co-operation CSM has also been instrumental in the launch of the streaming service leijonat.tv which is a joint venture between FIHA and AI-production company Sportway.
FIHA media rights consist of the Men’s National Team (excluding the IIHF World Championships), the Women’s National Team, the Junior (U20) National Team, the Junior (U18) National Team,
the Women’s (U18) National Team and the Junior (U16 and U17) National Teams.
“Our co-operation with CSM so far has been excellent and we can’t think of company better suited to guide us through the next rights cycle”, says Sami Kauhanen, CEO of FIHA.

CEO of CSM.
“During our co-operation with FIHA we have had the privilege to witness Finnish ice hockey’s National Teams win 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 6 bronze medals in the different World Championships and Olympic tournaments”, continues Persson.
